A few years back I bought one of those NAS "Toasters". Great idea,
worked fine and all. Unfortunately, the vendor never upgraded the
drivers to work with anything but Windows XP. Felt robbed, for sure.
Drive failed, destroyed my backup too. Ended up losing a couple years
worth of images from the E-1. I was upset for a while, but decided I
needed to just create new images, not worry about the lost ones.
Still, it would have been nice to have a couple of those images from
that two-year period of time.
Never again will I go with another NAS solution.
