I did get to see the Olympus version of the adapter with the 12-60 on
the EM-5. I thought it was comparable to the original 14-54 on the
E-1. Didn't get to try it on the EM-1, but did try my 14-42 and found
it OK. Not fantastic, but not offensive, either. Didn't get to try a
14-54.

The 14-54 Mark II is the version which is designed to work with CD
focusing. In my book, the 14-54 Mark II is the best all-around
Four-Thirds lens made. The iris and optical modifications not only
make it brighter (1/3 stop faster in the mid-zoom range), but it
addressed the image inversion problems at the two cross-over points.
It also had the contrasting adjusted slightly to make it more
"Zuiko-like". Its only problem is that the 12-60 was more popular due
to the reach, but the 14-54 II is the far better lens.

Yes, there is a part of me that really misses my E-1 and 14-54. Sniff
sniff. Especially when I reprocess images taken with it.
