That's a possibility worth checking - but what's bugging me is that the
wireless connection to the router is reported as being ok (although I
haven't been able to see if it can connect to a NAS for example) but it's
the outbound connection to the internet that won't complete. I've found a
few web complaints about Vista problems in this area (but also with other
OSes) so we're considering Win7 upgrade as a better place to start from...
