One time my best friend and I went to the Indycar race at the Cleveland
airport (I had press credentials). However, we figured we'd just find a
hotel room out there somewhere when we got to Cleveland.
Now, this was before smartphones and internet you can take with you....
We learned that the entire state of Ohio is booked up during the summer for
some reason. We drove three hours away from Cleveland and couldn't find a
room. So, we ended up sleeping in his Ford Probe, in the back corner of a
hotel's parking lot.
Does that count?
