Hmm. No, I think you are right. Internal processing in my AW4416 is 32
bit, but if I'm doing something snazzy, I'm recording and editing
24/48 files. The latest/greatest digital mixing desks are doing up to
64 bit depth processing internally--or at least on certain processes.
The AW4416's EQ section is 56bit.
And here these imaging snobs think that they rule the roost with 16 bit. HAH!
