I had a hectic weekend, so I didn't get to post last week's photos in a

You will see real-life railroad shots from this past Saturday along the
Chicago, South Shore and South Bend railroad and you will also see some
model railroading shots from my visit to a friend's home layout last
night. However, Dean's layout is larger than a lot of club layouts,
including ours.. when he and his wife built their house, he planned for the
layout and had the dividing walls built into the basement. It takes up
almost the entire 30x64' space.
I asked Dean to pose in front of the steel mill section of the layout:
