Today I was discharged from the hospital after 6 days. While I have to continue
with antibiotics for another week and keep to a low-residue diet for 2-3 weeks,
this is obviously a big step forward. The last bit of nursing assistance I
required this morning was to have my IV removed; and afterwards of course had
to take a picture of the nurse:
