The largest prints I've ever made (and all within the past year) are 12x24 (Loch Fyne in Scotland), 16x20 (clearing storm over the beach on Anna Maria Island, Florida) and just this past week 16x24 (architectural landscape of our veterinarian friend's animal hospital in Glen's Falls, NY). He doesn't know it yet but will in a few weeks.

I have a few more panos I'd like to print at probably 12x24 or even wider but haven't gotten a round-tuit yet. 3x5 sounds exciting but I have no idea where I'd put it.

Question - what's the largest any of you have seen one of your images
printed?

A friend of mine who has a sign shop is also a drag racing fanatic. He saw
my Sunset Strip photos and went nuts - said he knows there's a market for
them. I sent him the hi-res jpg, and he just showed me a test print....

He had printed it out on a 3'x5' piece of banner stock on his HD sign
printer. When I first saw it, there was a big rush of adrenaline - wow.
Just.... wow. And then I looked at it more cirtically and was amazed at
how well the image from the E-M5 held up, even on the rough-ish surface of
the banner material..

The ones we'll offer for sale will be smaller, and probably on gallery
wrap frames. He's connected with the local drag racing community, so we'll
approach this as a partner thing, splitting the proceeds (mostly in my
favor). I'm excited (guardedly) about the possibility of actually making
some money back from the photo toys, and the CFO has already agreed that
anything I make can go right into the "Paul wants the 40-150/2" fund.

But seeing that monster print this afternoon was certainly a thrill.
