I like the comment about old expats. My wife plays bridge with some of them, in
a Dutch club nearby. I went along with her once and got into an argument with a
UK retireee with the most idiotic, chauvinistic, racist opinions I have heard
on this side of the Atlantic in a long time. Typical UKIP voter, I suppose. The
irony of the fact that is able to live in the sunshine down here and draw his
UK pension etc. to a large extent because of the EU he so hates was completely
lost on him. His ilk generally hate foreigners, I suppose that's why they come
to Spain ;-)
