Nice.  I've tried to get a couple of those before, but they're definitely
fast little suckers.  From what I know, need really high shutter speed to
stop the wings.  Or a strobe.

Flash is the traditional way from film days. With the higher shutter speeds and ISO capabilities of some contemporary digitals, I imagine one could get good results.

I'm perfectly happy to have the wings blurred in flight.
