Very funny.
It's not uncommon here either in poor rural towns - you have to have somewhere
to dump the chainsaw when you get home and the dog appreciates it too. For
months, near us, there was an armchair left on a triangular verge at the Y
junction of two streets, placed there as a day bed for the goat who kept the
grass down.
Then there's a place up the road which has a couch, coffee table,fridge and
library on the verandah - fully charged bookcase. They must be intellectual
rednecks.
