Search for a Nikon AF-3 tripod adapter... works wit a variety of end-mount
cameras, ex:Barnacks,

I think it came out for the early AF Nikon 2000 & 2020
(Damn fine little cameras with standard lenses in place.)

What's not to like about built-in auto wind and focus confirmation?
