I found some Tripel earlier this year (along with 3 other Trappist beers in a sampler pack) at, of all places, a Florida Walmart. I'd also seen larger, individual bottles at a Florida Trader Joe's market. I enjoyed them but they're certainly not something I would drink all the time.

The two most widely available types are the Bruine (brown label, doh!) and the 
stronger Tripel (light beige label). Both are excellent.
