Amen to raised gardens.
Unfortunately, our house is centered on a ridge of land. I tried to put in
a small 4X8 raised garden
just off the deck. Using 2X10's, I had to go three boards high on the
downhill side and still wasn't completely level. :o(

Most of the hard-hauled dirt washed away in the first big rain! On the plus
side, we never worry about floods.
