Thank you.
It's interesting tearing back into these things again with newly
updated tools (converters). While E-1 files aren't best served by
Adobe, they are amazingly agile and responsive to extreme pounding.
There is still something very unique about that Kodak sensor that
Olympus has done a good job with mimicking with the E-M1, but it still
isn't quite the same thing. The E-1 sensor remains the anomaly in the
industry that allows aggressive exposure boosting, whereas pretty much
all CMOS sensor cameras can't have the shadows boosted very much at
all.
I'm still not quite there with the Sony files as they just don't have
the same bendability and natural roundness that the E-1 and the Leica
CCD camera files have.
