Maybe it is the way we carry the camera... and maybe not. I also carry the camera around my neck and hanging down in front. I thought maybe the weight and length of the 14-150 (what's usually mounted) would tilt the camera down and keep the eyecup from dragging on my belly. But I just tried it and that turned out not to be true... at least with the EP-11 extended eyecup that I use. I also tried the 12-50 and the eyecup drags across my belly with that too.

To Moose: You say you carry the camera around your neck. But you also say you carry 2 cameras. Are they both around your neck??

Something about a bag you carry it in?

I carry it slung over my shoulder usually.

Mine goes around my neck, hanging down in front.

It swings around a lot.

Front vs. shoulder?

Yeah, yeah, I know but a bag is just extra... baggage.

I use a bag to carry gear in vehicles, etc. But out in the field, the
cameras are naked

I wonder what the difference might be, that you, Paul and some others
lose them all the time while I, Chuck and some others don't. I am
pleased that I'm in the group I am.
