Nobody has mentioned the reason I don't use flash.  It draws attention to
ME and I'm trying to be invisible.

I took a flash to Honduras one year.  Nobody had ever seen a flash.  I have
hundreds of photos of people staring at the flash in amazement.  Not
exactly what I want.
