I think you can just wipe/scrape off, or some such, check the instructions. The body is full of the active powder, which
'flows' out through the pad.
Don't be afraid to put some pressure on it. If you blow off the loose
particles first it doesn't scratch.

OTOH, I've not needed it since going µ4/3. Panny's version of cleaning seems
much like Oly's, very effective.
