Tom has had a platinum America Express card for about 40 years. It pays
for itself easily in all of the perks and extras that you get with the
platinum card. He had a chance when he was working for a big company to
get a lifetime platinum card and kicks himself all the time that he didn't
do it. We aren't able to use it for the rental car in Cuba but we have
used it and it's insurance everywhere else in the world.
