All are quite beautiful except for the mosquitoes. That thought
reminded me of a talk given by Dixie Lee Ray at some IBM event about 40
years ago. I don't recall the main subject of her talk but amongst her
many accomplishments she had first been a biologist. I don't remember
her exact words but it was something like: All of God's creatures are
important to our environment and deserving of our protection (long
pause)... except mosquitoes. The entire room erupted in laughter.
