Do I get to express an opinion?

It doesn't really matter, I'm going to anyway.
It's been, probably, 30 years since I've heard "dank" used in a sentence
and I've probably used it only once. While the usage in the sentence "the
weather is dank" is correct, I would suggest that it is obsolete and only
worthy of inclusion in some overreaching attempt at poetry that only
pointy-headed self-appointed keepers of language obsolesence find
interesting.
