     These are the images of Cuba that I was anxious to see, as you had 
candidly depicted rural life in Viet Nam earlier.  Maria has the look of 
someone who has had a life of hard work.

     Some of the best coffee to be found in the Caribbean comes from Puerto 
Rico.  When we would drive down to Ponce we would have to drive through a 
narrow valley that had a coffee mill.  The aroma was overwhelming.  You could 
not stomach black Puerto Rican coffee, instead you drank cafe con leche (coffee 
with milk).  There is a coffee shop on Manhattan at 12th St. and 5th Ave. that 
makes it just right.  Nobody there speaks a word of English.
