OK, I can do a legitimate example. Scroll down to the bottom for the
sample image:

There you go again. :-) Chuck and I, the only other parties to this thread so far, fully agree with you that 4/3 is capable of adequately shallow DoF for portraiture. We both just said so.

So at whom you may be aiming these examples, I don't know.

Not that it matters, as above, but these often excellent portraits vary too wildly in focal length, subject distance, background distance and cropping to be germane to Chuck's very specific example.

Sometimes, narrow DoF is a crutch for portraiture.

Agreed, but there you go, off into the ether again, onto a different, albeit
related, topic. ;-)

I can scare up a whole lot more examples of what can be done with 4/3.

So can I, and so have we both, many times. (µ)4/3 against the world?

There's a certain 'voice' he adopts when stepping up on the soapbox. The
orations are almost always interesting, often informative, but rather unlike
simple, direct responses to the meat of any question of comment that pushed
that particular button. :-)
Am I that transparent?

I am, why shouldn't you be? :-)

I get paid really good money to have a decent soapbox at work. You
ain't seen nothing.

Ah, the joy of not going to business meetings!!!
