Nice. The selfie stick seems goofy, but then again, any time you hand your
camera to a random stranger to get a photo of you and your traveling
companion, you risk A) The bastard running off with it; B) Getting a photo
where they insist on getting you in the frame from head to toe so that
you're a tiny dot in the scene. Or out-of-focus. So, I can see some
usefulness. However, holding a DSLR out on the end of a stick is
challenging, I would imagine.
