Very interesting. I had no idea that PhotoShop could work with video. I tried it, it loaded but the interface looked pretty confusing. But see my next message in response to CH.

You have CS6 or CC, right? It does a credible job. I am in no way an expert but have used 
it a few times with transitions between clips etc. To use filters, the clips have to be 
made into "smart objects". (couple clicks is all)
I recall sucessfully trimming highlights etc. Rerendering caused my PC fits but 
it did it.
Watch a couple tutorials--you will have it down in a flash. It doesn't do 
everything, but suspect waaay good nough.  I think I shot the last  horse sale 
video at 1/60th at 30fps--multiples like that work better. (Had to use ND 
filter/pol.) Following focus easier with Magic Lantern but you have relatively 
stationary subjects.
