​I guess so. We seem to have forgotten that infections are a quite nasty
way to die. Browsing on the subject gets you links that 'Super bacteria
will be more deadly then cancer in 2050'. Nice.

Here are some maps I found showing the resistence of several bacteria's in
the EU. Obviously, not only financial problems come from the south...
