I refuse to have anything to do with Serif stuff. They are very pushy with the
upsell, promise that there is no risk, money back guarantee if not satisfied
etc, then do all in their power to weasel out of it when called upon to
"deliver".
And their stuff isn't that good by comparison with what else is there.
Your Motivation May Vary - but mine certainly will not.

I had a similar result. I got it installed (on a Mac) but then it took an age
to do something with “Collections”. I started something else leaving Digikam
in the background and it “stopped responding” (Finder-speak). I tried again,
but no joy.
I think that Graphic Converter will do something similar for me. If I tire of
that perhaps the Serif Affinity application will be of interest.
