It does say on their site that the Winders version is less stable than Linux.
It's too bad, really as there are quite a lot of useful features
packed into it for the Linux version.
OTOH, for me, LR is in effect free, as it comes with my PS subscription. And once I learned the unintuitive aspects of
their library & map interface, I've found it easier for geoplacing images than GeoSetter and Picasa.
