[OM] OT: Flash Player updates

Has anyone else noticed the increased frequency of Flash updates?

   What I have noticed is a lot more problems with Mozilla Firefox
   referring to problems with Flash plug-ins, and difficulties
   subsequently in updating to a working combination.  This seems to be
   happening on both our Windows Vista and W7 systems.  This household is
   beginning to reverse a long standing preference for Firefox instead of
   IE (and I still don't like IE).
   Whether it is connected with these effects or not, both computers have
   recently been automatically 'shutdown and restarted by Windows recently
   to avoid damage to the computer' . I had never previously seen this
   combination of messages before in 20 years of using MS Windows OS from
   W3.11 onwards.
