Real women don't wear shoes like that. I wear Birkenstocks, boots or go
barefoot. I have never worn high heels. I think it would be like the
ancient Chinese foot-binding!

Ditto. It is _exactly_ like footbinding as implemented by western
culture. And I don't find stumbling around bent out of shape by shoes
particularly attractive either.
