It has the look of "Owner's fingers into everything" aesthetic. It is
probably very nice inside, but it certainly has a look that lacks a
theme. The materials might be perfect and best-ever, but the house
lacks a thoughtful artistic bond.
What disappoints me about Mr Dole Foods house is that he really never
lived in it. That could explain why it lacks any essence of "home" to
it. It looks like it ticks the list of must-haves, like a home
theatre, but lacks the "I really want to live here until I die" feel.
Personally, I'd rather have a $25 million dollar condo in Monaco. At
least I wouldn't pay any income taxes.
