Ah, yes, originally the work of the great Arnold Brillhart. I suspect that like other mouthpieces of the era, they are worth a good bit more than their original cost today.

Thanks to my experience as a player and a repairman in my younger days, I suspect that in your time, to get a special barrel would require q special order to the factory and a long waiting period with the addition of large amounts of cash, an in those days I don['t think more that a couple of lengths were readily available. OTOH, a skilled repairman could easily shorten a longer one with a lathe and patience

Thanks, Bill.  I grew up in the days of Brillharte mouthpieces and Tonex
pads.  That made a third-hand clarinet work for me.
