[OM] Mating Dance

As we swan about New England, there aren't many opportunities to process and post images. And it's not all that much fun on this little screen that's so viewing angle sensitive.( I think I may need a Windows tablet with Retina equivalent screen.)

Bob and Joan took us for a lovely walk in the Crooked Farm Preserve, not far from their house. In a meadow area, I saw a couple of Sulfur Flutterbys doing their mating dance, flying in spirals around each other. They would spin up high, then come down close to the ground, and repeat.

This image isn't as sharp as I like - but then, it was taken while they were flying. <http://zone-10.com/tope2/main.php?g2_itemId=19006>

Note the raised, enlarged abdomen on what I suppose may be the female?
