Yes, it does have several selections of ranges of focus point. You can also
touch the LCD screen and it will focus wherever you touch. That's what
I've been using mostly and also the toggle switch (they call it a joystick)
by the viewfinder will move in any direction as you look through the
viewfinder. I find that very easy.
