Thanks for looking, Chris. And it is probably one of the noisiest, both inside and out. When they landed over the parking lot at Wright Field, Dayton, Ohio, in the early 1950s, they sounded like someone was rattling an enormous bag of tin cans. A recent report on one of the last ones flying said the noise inside during flight was much higher than other aircraft.
