Besides the free shipping and free Amazon video, there is a more interesting
feature of Amazon Prime which might be worth looking at. Unlimited cloud
storage for photos (at least, files which Amazon recognises as photos). And
the good news for us is that Amazon Prime Photo _does_ now support .ORF raw
files, in the sense that they are recognised as photos, and thus get
unlimited storage (previewing them is a bit hit and miss, depends on the
platform).
You really need decent upload speed/capacity to make the most of this. I am
over 200GB so far, which has taken 3 days (Syncback Pro interfaces well with
Amazon Cloud!). Not all ORF, some RAF, MRW, TIF and PSD, all clearly
recognised as photos in the Storage Management console (as well as JPG, of
course).
NB this is Amazon UK ? US terms may be different.
