Thanks for the feedback. Now I know I don't have to wait for the E-M1 Mk II. Neither do I have any reason for further procrastination. :-)

I just tried shooting a slide with 50/3.5 and the High Res Mode of the
E-M5 II. 6500 dpi is definitely overkill for this old slide. It does
nicely show grain clump detail. :-)

It takes about 15 sec. for the camera to take 8 1/20 sec shots, process
and write out JPEG and Raw files. As I recall, Oly was saying they
expect to cut this to 1/60 sec. in the future.
