I bought a hyperdrive Album storage device and a battery pack for my
India trip from them, both good quality items, but that was 5 years ago
and I have noticed a general trend from manufactures towards lower
quality of late, although these items look good on the website.
Chuck, a couple of years ago I would have really encouraged you to try a
mac but I am not so enamored of late, however it is still much better
than any of the newer windows, Linux also works but OSX is the better
front end. If you decide to try I wouldn't buy the latest and greatest
though but try and pick up a discounted earlier model

I'm still a ways from becoming an Apple fan-boy but I'll keep a
Macbook of some sort in mind.
