Actually, what you posted on the Morgan is a link and it works. I don't know what to tell you about antivirus since Avast is one of the highest rated. I think you may be paying some sort of advertising penalty as a result of being free. Here's a review or reviews from PC Mag. Choose your own poison. I'd try each of the top 3 rated products and choose whichever is the easiest to use or least bothersome.

Much more important than antivirus I think it this product
<https://www.malwarebytes.org/antiexploit/> If you use this one, the free version, it will remind you with a little banner every time you start the browser but that's a pretty minor penalty for what it does. It runs all the time the browser is running. Infected websites worming their way through the browser is actually the biggest security vulnerability today and this thing stops them by warning you that the site is infected and turns off all network traffic to that page. Viruses are rather passe today.

If something does manage to make it through then you find it and get rid of it with this companion product. I set this to run once/day. I use the pay version on this one which gives you a license for 3 computers. I use it because it hunts down rootkits (provided you set the option switch to turn that feature on.) <https://www.malwarebytes.org/antimalware/> Rootkits are the worst kind of malware. They get in front of the operating system in the boot sequence and can thus exercise complete control of your machine including capturing all your keystrokes. The anti-rootkit feature is not turned on by default since they say it runs rather slowly. But I've not found that to be a problem at all and leave the feature turned on.

Maybe Jez is right. If everyone is having the same problem with my posts,
I'll trash Avast.

I admit that I don't understand much about computers (Shhis - it took me
two months to convert my kids "Crow" book to Amazon Kindle.)

But on the three computers I checked, two here and one at school, the image
showed up nicely when I re-read the post - Am I the only one seeing it?

Anyway, if interested, just Google <Morgan 3 Wheeler> and you'll see lots
of pix and reviews from both US and UK pubs.

The post <http://morgan3wheeler.us/about/history> *(Not a link - Please cut
& paste) *)tells how this design went from a Seattle garage to become a
genuine Brit ikon.
