Flickers are in the sub-species Colaptes but are still considered woodpeckers. <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colaptes#Species> Propping one's self on the stiff tail feathers is a woodpecker characteristic.

Nice pose. But isn't that a Flicker? Related to the woodpeckers, but
officially of a different name.
