I've got no argument at all with what you've done with contrast, colors,
etc. A very different image than the original, and quite good . . .

Except, I just can't get past what happens to the horizon trees. Not only do
we have your traditional halos in these kinds of images, but the trees have
gone from natural trees to heavy, black blobs.

I think they look, and the whole image looks, much better with their natural
foliage in silhouette and a direct transition from silhouette to sky color,
without the bright color along their edges.

It's all so personal. When I try LR, I feel that I'm fighting with it, like
a painter who has been handed a sculptor's chisel.

When you start posting images similar to the above, without the above sorts
of problems, I'll agree.
