Tropical Storm Bonnie reached peak sustained winds of 40 kt, at which
point upper level winds sheared it, stripping away any deep convection. What
remains will travel very slowly northeastward along the coast, passing back
over water late Thursday. It will weaken into a post-tropical remnant and
probably not strengthen to any degree:
