Now remember ........

The Richard Nixon and [the now departed] Sir David Frost interviews back in 1977

Now imagine a Hillary Clinton / David Frost set of interviews. Who might have come out ahead ?

There is an underlying issue going on here that the leaders must come

The Hoi Polloi ain't happy. If everything is so rosy in the EU, then
why were over 50% of the population of the UK convinced that it wasn't
so? Lies and fears? Those are symptoms of the problem, but not the
problem. The issue with the EU is that the leadership has become tone
deaf to the people and has taken on a "we know better than you what is
best for you" mentality. Now, the fact is that they probably really do
know better than you what is best for you, but that is never going to
be accepted by the masses unless the masses feel part of the process.

Let's look at what is going on in the USA. What is the Trumpster all
about? People are supporting him and the Bernmeister for EXACTLY the
same reason. The people are upset with the way things have been and
are going. The Hillary is the poster child of what the problem is with
Washington. The ONLY reason she will get elected is because of fear of
Trump. She is one of the most despicable people we've ever seen and is
Richard Nixon in a pant suit.

But why did Trump even make it past the first week? Because the
complete and total disfunction of the Republican Party and the
attitude of "party first, screw the country" actions. Of course, the
Democrat Party is exactly the same way. People are tired of it and
want a government that actually does something, not just obstruct each
other.

Over the past 20 years, the Republican Party has gone off the rails
with extremism. The Democrat Party has actually gone to the middle
where the Republicans were 30 years ago. Instead of viewing Trump as
the destruction of the Republican Party, he could actually be the
savior of the Republican Party by breaking the back of the loony
"anti-everything" brigade. There is nothing extreme about Trump--he's
a carnival barker with no real core values. He'll be and do whatever
he needs to be/do to get approval.

But what should absolutely terrify the Democratic Party is the 80% of
the people under age 30 that refused to support Hillary in the primary
season. They are kissing off the future and saying "screw you, we old
people are going to do what we want to do". This could be a banner
year for the Green Party.
