Maybe not, but it helps the arctic.

I do get a kick out of the alarmists who say that rising sea waters
will inundate and kill billions of people. DUH. We move to higher
ground. Personally, I think the most foolish thing we did was rebuild
the flooded parts of New Orleans after Katrina. It would have been
less costly to just relocate the city. All we are doing is delaying
the inevitable.

There. Got that off my chest.
