Yes, each linear inch will be 5x 'sharper' but each square inch will have
25x the number of pixels...

The 2000pixel wide sensor (assuming 4/3 aspect ratio) will be 2000x1500 = 3
megapixel.
The 10000pixel wide sensor will be 10000x7500 = 75 megapixel.

Agreed?
