Thanks, Chuck. Even at 1:1, the detail is there. The sharpness limiter
is the sensor, not the lens. I think I was at f4, maybe f5.6. On many
occasions I've hit the limit on what the sensor is capable of. I don't
think the 6D is nearly as good as the DMC-L1 at pixel-level sharpness,
but a bit better than the E-1 and E-3. The pixel pitch is the same as
the E-1 and I've pounded the limit of the E-1's sensor for years.

However, to acknowledge the "Moose In the Room", bokeh from the OM
Zuiko 50mm F1.4 does get wonky if you aren't careful. $4500 gets you
mushroom soup bokeh at every setting. The OMZ 50/1.4 produces bokeh
that can be used for advertisements for your favorite brand of instant
ramon noodles.
