Thanks to all of you who sent good wishes, prayers, good energy, etc. It means
a lot.
Yesterday was a long day, eleven hours from leaving the house to getting back in - even longer for Carol, even if she
was out for a few of those hours. Outpatient surgery took a little longer than anticipated, but went very well. Her
surgeon said that a plate and endless screws (13? 17?) put everything back together perfectly and she should recover
full, normal use of her ankle and foot.
Now it's jut a matter of time, resting, taking the pills and being waited on
hand and ankle.
