Recently, a digital Nykon shooter I know fairly well, contacted me
with the message that he had just come into possession
of another
brand of (film) camera which he did not want, and wondered if I would be
interested.
He said the camera shutter seemed to be jammed - I
thought, well B that ! I'll try a bit of mental force

photographed it/them ...

In the process I
discovered how difficult it is to remove visible dust from black
surfaces ... you think it is all gone, then look at the photos :-(
I
also discovered that the paint on the surface of the battery cover is
somewhat scuffed ... :-( do you think it is so marred that I should take
the whole lot back?
It hasn't seen a whole lot of use. I might need to
buy some film if the answer to my question above is NO.
I also have
another film find in the pipeline - more about that in a week or two.
