We have
a woman friend here whose 13 yo daughter is in the same class as
Maggie's (my wife's) grand-daughter who we are raising.
A month ago she
went to the doctor about an unexpected swelling in the abdomen
area.
Diagnosis - incurable lung, spleen and liver cancer .... So sad.
She has been a heavy drinker for ages, which may not have helped.

never know when your day is up.
