Bill, that's a sweet ride! Perfect for long road cruises. You do tend
to run the wheels off your vehicles, so it's all good that it isn't
quite as fuel efficient because so much of the hidden costs of a
vehicle are in the manufacturing and disposal. I like "driver's
vehicles" so the BMW is more up to my liking, but it is NOT as cushy
as the Caddy. For LONG road trips, either vehicle is great.

I finally did figure out how to hoon the X5, but the tires are too
expensive to do it on anything but ice. I've taken it off road and it
does just fine. It's not a Jeep, but it does better than I thought it
would. The suspension, being rather stiff (rather stiff? try 4-hour
viagra stiff), and having independent suspension means that the
slightest mogul will have wheels propped up in the air. The traction
control works wonders, though, and as long as there is one tire
touching anything, you'll still go. So, I'm a bit careful around
rocks, trees and such, but I'm definitely not afraid of taking the X5
off the beaten path.

I agree about Zuikofests being good for the health. After all, we have
(and have had) plenty of "Doctors" here on the list.

Two-Ply is a comforting thought.
